Biden confirms he will stay in the race for POTUS.

Reasons: All delegates are pledged to HIM. No one else.

All donations are at his disposal, and not transferable.

Only a major medical event would prevent Biden carrying on. BM

That is such a shame, don't you think? The man has already given everything he has to this country and the only way he'll stop is to succumb to physical failure. He deserves the opportunity to step aside and retire with dignity, not be shamed by a public that owes him a debt of gratitude.

The Stephanopoulos interview was meant to alay our concerns about his mental acuity and ability to serve another 4 (challenging) years until the year 2028. Instead, in answer to his fourth question, Biden responded:

"BIDEN: Yeah, look. The whole way I prepared, nobody’s fault, mine. Nobody’s fault but mine. I, uh — I prepared what I usually would do, sitting down as I did come back with foreign leaders or National Security Council for explicit detail. And I realized — about partway through that, you know, all — I get quoted, The New York Times had me down at 10 points before the debate, nine now, or whatever the hell it is. The fact of the matter is, what I looked at is that he also lied 28 times. I couldn’t — I mean, the way the debate ran, not — my fault, no one else’s fault, no one else’s fault."

Even giving him the grace of transcripts being unforgiving, President Biden’s answer to this question is gibberish in any medium. I watched through my fingers as I realised we were right to be concerned after his debate performance. He will only ever get worse.

The delegates that are pledged to him can pledge to another candidate if Biden and his campaign step down.

Regarding the donations: Even if Biden is not the nominee, he would have the authority to direct his campaign treasurer on what to do with the remnant funds — whether that is a transfer in full to the DNC, to a super PAC supporting the new nominee or parsed out up to contribution limits to various other campaigns with the balance to the DNC or a super PAC. At time of writing they have approximately $91.6 Million on hand.
