That vicarious review of the Crichton/Patterson blockbust novel was hilarious. What are you reading now? I’ve just finished 4000 weeks which was surprisingly uplifting. Have just started fire weather which is going to be less so. Dictating, excuse typos. Hopefully you know what I mean.
4000 Weeks was on my recs for 2021-- I've gone back and read it a couple of times since. Oliver has a great way of putting me at ease about the futility of my seemingly endless to-do lists. He has an excellent newsletter called The Imperfectionist; highly recommend :)
Right now I'm reading The Work of Art by Adam Moss. It's really great.
Loved the book recommendations! Keep ‘em coming. ☺️🙏
Cheers, Ernie!

Yes - great newsletter. He has also done some good stuff for the Waking Up app you got me into. BTW, that app may have literally saved my dad's life.
