I published my first Note on Substack Notes in April, 2023.
I’ve since met some of the most amazing writers (and readers) as a result. I would love for you to join me there.
Notes is a space on Substack for me to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. In addition to my free weekly post, I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like works-in-progress or quick questions. Sometimes I just post what I’m working on that day, or if I’m going to be live drawing somewhere in New York… or whatever is haunting me at the drawing board.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. As a subscriber to New York Cartoons, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
Share the good bits. (But not your naughty bits.)
You can also highlight and share your favorite bits of my work using the new “Restack” function. Think of Notes as Twitter/X without the ominous feeling that you’re about to be buried in a botload of poo.
You can also share notes of your own.
I hope this becomes a place where every reader of New York Cartoons can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading. You don’t need to be a paid subscriber to access this feature.
Note: If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!

I will be in New York June 12-15 - will you be doing any live drawing then?
